A constant reminder that fraud and its many different faces continue to exist

by | May 23, 2018 | Forum

On just about every news outlet there always seems to be a segment focused on people committing fraud, so my question is who can you trust? We see it in all of the facets of services that comprise Workers’ Compensation; it can be harvested on either side; it comes disguised with many faces; it may have attended functions we’ve all attended.

The sad truth is you may have worked along side it unknowingly, but the question remains, why do these dubious players keep popping up? They take advantage of loopholes and for the most part, their wake creates an uphill challenge for all of us, the honest and passionate providers of service.

These unethical fly by night companies can flourish for years. They are relentless in lying to us all and taking advantage of the weak, already skeptical injured workers of California. They are hurting our industry and creating waves of potential reform, new processes and lesser returns on our work.
For those of us who continue to hold ethics with the utmost respect and value, let’s promote awareness with each other, exchange opinion and potentially lobby against using such service providers. The only way to eradicate the unscrupulous is by not feeding them at all.

We will continue to see familiar faces being indicted and prosecuted, so in this time of uncertainty, all I have is my word, my history, my conviction and my passion to prove to you all that we are an honest provider of service and will continue to effectively deliver quality voucher counseling services the best we can.

I’d like to take this moment to sincerely thank those attorneys and law firms who confidently allow us to work alongside of their clients day in day out. Your trust in my company means all the world to me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in us.
